About

Owen Corstens

OutSystems Tech Lead focused on building AI-enabled systems that remain reliable under real constraints: governance, security, cost, and operational safety.

What I do

I work at the intersection of low-code delivery and modern AI architecture. My focus is not model research for its own sake, but practical AI systems engineering: retrieval-first solutions, controlled tool use, auditable behavior, and repeatable templates teams can adopt.

AI systems that can be governed
RAG pipelines with clear data boundaries, citations, and evaluation; multi-agent/tool workflows with strict guardrails.
Delivery and reuse at scale
Creating reusable internal assets (templates/components) that make AI adoption repeatable across teams.
High-stakes environments
I’m particularly interested in regulated contexts (notably healthcare), where correctness, privacy, and auditability are non-negotiable.

Why this site exists

This site is my public workspace: projects I build and ship, write-ups that turn learning into actionable guidance, and examples of how to implement AI responsibly—not just demo it.

Long-term direction

Build a platform that documents practical AI patterns (RAG, agents, governance) and supports interactive demos and experiments over time.

What I’m building next

  • A clean portfolio/blog platform that stays fast and maintainable.
  • Structured write-ups of flagship work (RAG pipelines, guardrails, orchestration patterns).
  • Later: small shipped game experiments as end-to-end AI-assisted creation workflows.

Contact

If you’re working on AI adoption where control matters (governance, privacy, auditability), I’m open to exchanging patterns and lessons learned.
